THE CENTER FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT RECEIVES
CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING
Somerset,
KY- The Center for Rural Development located on Highway 27 in
Somerset, received the “Shining STAR” Customer Service Training on
November 14, 2006. The
training was provided by TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky’s
Director of Hospitality, Michelle Spencer, a Nationally Certified
Trainer.
The “Shining
STAR” Customer Service Program is based around service, attitude,
consistency, and teamwork. Center
employees participated in teamwork exercises, along with learning
about verbal/non-verbal communications, telephone etiquette, and how
to provide top notch customer service to the region.
The Center employees that participated in the two-hour training
have now been certified as “Shining STARS.”
