SEKTDA VISITS AMERICAN BUS ASSOCIATION
Somerset, KY- Vicki Kidd, President/CEO of Southern and Eastern Kentucky Tourism Development Association (SEKTDA)
and Jeff Crowe, National Scenic Byways Director traveled to Grapevine,
Texas on January 27, 2007 to attend the American Bus Association (ABA)
2007 American Bus Marketplace.
This
is the motorcoach and group travel industry’s leading business
event. Marketplace offers
an invaluable opportunity to build business relationships and learn
what is new in the motorcoach industry.
This marketplace allows face to face opportunities with travel
industry professionals who can help our businesses grow and offers
educational seminars with top-rated speakers or industry experts.
SEKTDA
travels to these marketplaces to represent the 47-county region of
southern and eastern Kentucky. Many tourism commissions or businesses
do not have the opportunity to educate these motorcoach companies
about their establishments. This is just another service provided to
the area for free by SEKTDA thanks to Congressman Hal Rogers.
